However, it should be attractive.

It shouldn’t sound like you just want to make more sales. Surely, that it is your ultimate goal but you should dig deeper.

  1. Discount or Coupon

Who doesn’t like a discount! If you can offer a discount or coupon, you can draw in more people through your EDDM. But you should also add an expiry date to the coupon. Even if it is an offer that you always provide, make the coupon expire within a few weeks after they receive it.

When you add a sense of urgency, people tend to act faster. Instead of putting it aside, they will think of taking an action.

When you are creating an EDDM for your real estate business, include a call to action. It is simple but crucial. You have to tell your target customers what to do next. For instance, you can include the message ‘Make this your beautiful abode, call us now’.

Or would you like them to visit your website? No matter what you decide, ensure it is the focal point of the postcard. It should be clear to the customers. Surely, you don’t want your target customers to go searching for your contact details. It’s even better if you put it on both sides of your postcard.

Visuals can have a greater impact on the onlooker. Apart from an attractive headline, you need to include a good picture that will grab the attention of the audience. But your image should be simple and not cluttered. But most importantly, it should be of high resolution.

If it appears blurry on your computer screen, it is going to look worse after being printed. There are many stock photo sites out there with several images to select from. But they might not always look good when printed. If you do not have the budget to hire a photographer, you can always buy an image. You should know the demographics you want to reach.
